About Rio
Villa Rio is the taller sister villa to Villa Acapulco, built over 2 floors and in the same great location, Villa Rio is a short walk to both Corallia Beach and Coral Bay Beach. Situated on a lovely quiet residential street, you have several bars & restaurants within easy walking distance and the bustling Coral Bay strip with plenty of great restaurants, bars with live entertainment and shops is less than a 20 minute walk.
To the east lies Kato Paphos with its medieval port and antiquities of the ancient world, charming harbour and seafront full of eateries and shops. And Old Town Paphos lies up on the hill overlooking the harbour with its narrow streets, full traditional market, artisans and local produce. To the west lies the wild Akamas peninsula: adventure awaits!
Villa Rio is a spacious villa with lots of outside space. Through the front door and to your left is a fully fitted kitchen with all the mod cons you need including dishwasher, washing machine, oven, microwave, and American style fridge/freezer and a dining area to seat 6 guests very comfortably. Down a couple of steps, the lounge area has brand new designer furniture, a feature fireplace, large flat screen TV with UK channels and PlayStation 4 plus games (available on request).
The first of 3 bedrooms can be found on the ground floor, this can be a double room or twin room to suit your needs, it has double patio doors leading to the pool patio area and has its own ensuite bathroom. There is also a guest cloakroom on the ground floor.
On the first floor there is a master bedroom with ensuite bathroom and balcony overlooking the pool area and another double bedroom with ensuite bathroom. There is free air-conditioning throughout the whole villa and free WiFi.
Back downstairs, there are large double patio doors to take you out to the fantastically large pool patio area with a covered soft seating area, al fresco dining facilities, BBQ, luxury sun loungers, sun parasols, ping pong table, a wonderful oval pool with Roman steps which has pool heating (optional extra), for those cooler winter months, optional jacuzzi/spa with massage jets – introducing our versatile all-season jacuzzis, perfect for holiday villa guests! Enjoy a steamy soak in the winter, melting away stress, while promoting relaxation and rejuvenation. In the summer, bask in the refreshing cool waters, soothing sun-kissed skin and revitalizing your body. Experience luxurious hydrotherapy at its finest, with adjustable jet settings and an ergonomic design for ultimate comfort.

Perfect stay at beautiful Villa Rio We had a great time staying at Villa Rio in Coral Bay. The villa and the pool area are very clean, comfortable and spacious within easy walking distance to the beach. Booking with Cyprus Villa Retreats was easy and they were very helpful and always responded quickly
We had a lovely stay at Villa Rio. Overall we had a brilliant time but a couple of points to consider. The high chair and cot should be included at no extra charge. This is fairly standard of family rentals nowadays and is a necessity for parents with young children. Pool tiles get very slippery. This can be dangerous. We did mop as we went along which helped with the slipping. The bedrooms were lovely and clean and the bathrooms were also nice and clean. The pool was lovely and we paid extra for heating which was definitely necessary. The garden area could do with some attention as it’s a bit neglected but the kids enjoyed the swings. Overall a really lovely place to stay for a family holiday and would recommend again.
Our stay at this villa was amazing. We had everything we could possibly need in the villa, the host was very thoughtful (they even came over at the middle of our stay to ask if everything’s okay and if we need anything). The villa was clean, comfortable, had all the necessities. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay. Would visit again!!
Perfect stay. Accommodation was great. Nice and clean with plenty additional features like books and games. The travel Directions and key pickup were clear and easy. We stayed at Villa Rio in Coral Bay, with a lovely pool and Jacuzzi.
From the start it was not great. Booked Villa Georgio, which we had spent a long time researching, modern clean close to the beach. When we came to pay the final instalment we were told it was no longer available? After a lot of calls finally we were told we had an upgrade to Villa Rio. Absolutely not an upgrade! Tired, not functional, ice maker on fridge not working, pans for induction hob not supplied, towel rails fell off the wall, cockroaches we didn’t think the villa had been properly checked before we got there. We felt the Villa was not what we had expected however the staff were quick to respond to our complaints but would not book with them again. Only given a two star rating as staff were quick to react.
This villa was absolutely amazing - even better than the pictures. We would definitely stay here again we loved our time here, spacious, modern, clean and in a great location so close to coral bay beach
